Excursions to production facilities are a standard practice for many manufacturing companies, including MEAC. The doors to our production plant in Slaný are open not only for visitors from the Czech Republic but also from abroad. This year, we have already welcomed several groups of interested visitors. The excursion program includes not only a theoretical part, including a presentation of the history of the MITSUBISHI company but also a tour of the production.
“The company´s management supports recruitment activities, including visits to production with presentations of the latest manufacturing technologies. Especially students with a mechanical focus are an important target group for us. MEAC is a stable and continuously developing company facing a shortage of technicians and engineers in its region. Therefore, I consider excursions to be a key practice that helps us attract the attention of a wider group of local residents,” says Jana Kučerová, Executive Assistant to the Top Management Team, who also guides these presentations.
During the month of February, three group of high school students visited Production Hall B, where STATORs and ROTORs are manufactured. Damian Rusiak from the Business Academy in Slany commented: “I evaluate the excursion as very interesting because we had the opportunity to glimpse into the production process and see what components are being manufactured in our city for modern automobiles worldwide.”
