This international forum, founded in 1996 at the initiative of the European Union, aims to strengthen communication between company management and employees across Europe.
The forum, held at least once a year, provides space for open dialogue between both parties. Mitsubishi Electric’s leadership regularly shares updates on company strategy, economic performance, and planned changes, while employees have the opportunity to raise insights, questions, and suggestions.
This year, MEAC was represented by two participants – Pavel Majtán, a quality control engineer nominated by the employee committee, and So Matsukawa, an intern from the Human Resources department.
The program of this year’s forum was packed with content. Attendees heard presentations from several divisions – MELCO provided a global business overview, MEU HR focused on human resources, MEU Finance presented economic developments in the EU, and individual business units led by BUP presidents shared their results and future plans.
“The presentations were very detailed and inspiring. I was truly impressed by the broad range of products offered by Mitsubishi Electric. Beyond the well-known automotive segment, the company also manufactures elevators, escalators, air conditioning units, as well as turbine generators, high-voltage substations, and onboard computer systems for trains,” said Pavel Majtan.
The forum not only provided valuable information but also helped strengthen mutual understanding between employees and management. Dialogues like these are the foundation of a healthy corporate culture and a crucial step toward future collaboration.
